![]() Adam Klasfeld (Artistic Director, Playwright) Adam's recent docudrama about Mark Twain called The Report of My Death received coverage in the New York Times and New York Magazine during its 2007 workshop production at the Metropolitan Playhouse. Previously, his drama The Prostitute of Reverie Valley went through developments at the Flea in Manhattan and the Last Frontier Theatre Conference in Alaska before premiering at the 2006 New York International Fringe Festival. His tragicomedy Good Fences Make Good Neighbors received a chashama AREA Award, and opened to critical acclaim at the 2005 FringeNYC. Adam's first full-length play Europa's Child was part of Amphibian Productions' Spring 2004 New Play Reading Series. As a screenwriter, he's written the short films La Virgen de la Caridad and Before Dawn for the upcoming feature film Te Amo Cuba produced by Nomad Films. He is the artistic director of the production company One Armed Man, and is also a journalist, publicist, and director. Sherri Kronfeld (Director) Sherri recently served as assistant to the director for the acclaimed production of Back of the Throat at the Flea, and has helmed numerous productions at HERE Arts Center, FringeNYC, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Independent Theatre, and the Debaun Performing Arts Center. She was pleased to direct a workshop reading of Adam Klasfeld's Good Fences Make Good Neighbors at Chashama in 2005 and The Prostitute of Reverie Valley at the Flea in 2006. Sherri studied directing and playwriting at Barnard College, Columbia University. Sarah Nerboso ((Assistant Director / Stage Manager / Lighting Design) Sarah has worked as a designer and technician at venues such as the Flea Theater, Target Margin, and Women's Project and Productions. At the Ontological Hysteric Theater, she worked as Production Intern/ASM on Richard Foreman's Zomboid and as Production Manager of the Outside/Input 2006. This fall, the Bee Sting Theater will produce her original show, Hangers and Knives, which she will also direct. She graduated in 2005 with a degree in East Asian History from the University of Chicago in 2005. Patrick Cadenhead (Set Designer) Patrick is a Brooklyn based installation and performance artist. He has performed and shown at venues including Collective Unconcious, One Arm Red, the Tank, DUMBO Arts Under the Bridge, and CB's 313 Gallery. He has also worked as a set designer for Wheel of Seizures at One Arm Red, and the Big Bad Hour of Fun at CRS, and acted as a technical advisor for Belly Dream Real at Here Arts Space. This is his first time working with One Armed Man. Allan Dorison (Sound Designer) Allan is happy to be part of the Crew. He has done sound design on plays at the Flea Theatre and HERE Art Center. He has been a sound op at the New York Fringe Festival, the American Living Room Festival, the Independent Theater and the Impact Theater (Brooklyn). Allan is the Technical Director of the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, located at 594 Broadway, Suite 401. For this show he frequented hookers and whore houses to make sure the sound cues were accurate. He would like to thank the playwright for footing the bill. Katie Falk (Costume Designer) This is Katie's second time working with the One Armed Man, having designed the costumes for last year's Good Fences Make Good Neighbors. Currently, Katie works as a firsthand for Parsons-Meares Ltd, making costumes for shows such as The Lion King and Phantom of the Opera. She has also worked for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Costume House in Pearl River, New York, and has designed shows for such companies as Six Figures Theatre Company and The Theatre Project. Katie is a graduate of Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts, and is expecting to be paying off student loans for the rest of her life. David Klasfeld (Makeup Artist) has had his work appear in Interview, Time Out NY, and Zink, in videos for The Stills, Thursday, and Sum 41. His theater credits includes makeup for several seasons of Broadway Bares and the Actor's Equity performances of Dreamgirls and Hair. David continues to develop his cosmetics line, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. He lives in New York with his boyfriend Louis and their dogs, Carrie & Sybil. He is represented by EVCreative, Inc. ************************* Ashley Hollon (Co-Producer, 2005 Season) A graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Ashley served as assistant director for last year's Good Fences Make Good Neighbors. She also directed Cinderella Commedia at the Pilot Point Community Theatre, Giving In at the Rockhill Public Theatre, and served as stage manager at the Pilot Point Community Theatre. As an actor, she has performed extensively in New York and Texas. |
